Dear Community Members,

Bring the whole family to the Ready, Set, Go! Open House for an afternoon of fun, food, and practical tips to help you prepare for emergencies!

Sunday, October 18 | Noon–2 PM
Timber Cove Fire Department
30800 Seaview Road, Cazadero

Hosted by Timber Cove Fire Department in partnership with Central Sonoma Coast Firewise Community, this event has something for everyone:

• Try an all-ages firefighter-style obstacle course.
• Explore fire apparatus and equipment.
• Enjoy free snow-cones and giveaways.
• Grab lunch from the taco truck, with food available for purchase.
• Build your personal evacuation plan at the wildfire planning and evacuation workshop.

The  Woodside Fire reminded us how important it is to be prepared. Meet with Firewise representatives and Sonoma County Department of Emergency Management staff to learn about emergency alerts, what to pack in your go bag, supplies for sheltering in place when directed, and steps to help protect your home before evacuating—if time and safety allow. Pick up a Wildfire Emergency Planning and Evacuation Guide to help you get started.

Free water for your go bags! provided by the Timber Cove County Water District . Pick up a half dozen or so to add to your emergency supplies.

Drop in, meet your neighbors and local firefighters, and leave feeling more prepared.

We hope to see you Sunday!
